The majority of trekking trails in India are well within the" inner line "which falls within a certain distance from of the external boundery of the country. We operate most of our high altitude trekking programmes in the northern most states especially in Sikkim.Jammu & Kashmir , Himachal pradesh , Uttarpradesh, and sikkim all lie in the lap of great Himalayan range, where the trekking season is roughly from july to Mid October,August and september being the best months.

To the adventure lovers ,trekkking in Sikkim is an experience of many dimensions.for sheer exhilaration, nothing can match the view of the mountains which seems to reach the heavens. When misty rain wraps the slopes in lacy wisps of clouds, you will find yourselves trekking at 14000.ft or more.Indeed a unique experience.

And as you trek up the blue green mountains, revel in the excitement of being part of a unique culture , a rich tapestry wooven with legends, myths, rituals and festivals. The whole vast landscapess studed with an ancient stupas, and monasteries

Listen to folklore and myths of the sacred mountains Khangchendzonga as told to you by the villager.as the adventurer wends his way up a mountain trek, he establish an easy rapport with nature .Make a little detour en route chasing a butterfly, sing along with a thrush as he gayly serenades you on the way. Trekkers in sikkim are spell bound by the profusion of plants and flowers.A variety of over 4000 species of plants magnolias, rhododendrons, julipers, blue poppies, gentials, primulas makes a pretty possy of memories of your trekking holidays into this botanical odyssey. You may chance upon the shy musk deer on one of yours treks, or weve out to the exotic red panda perched among the tree tops.Sikkim forests abound in all kinds of fauna-the barking deers, the himalayan black bear, the blue sheeps, and the snow leopard.

By the time you cover the last lap of your trek , you will be familiar with the hospitality of the sikkimese, the deep rootness of their religion and culture, and will be able to discern the difference between a Lepcha, a Bhutia and a nepali, interwinged in a unique blend.

MODERATE Altitude Trekking in THE SINGALILA RANGE
The Himalayas in all their glory provide an imposing backdrop as trekkers wend their way through dense forests and picturesque landscapes punctuated with lush green valleys, meadows, tiny villages and hamlets. All these make the Singalila trek a most popular and rewarding experience.

DAY - 1 Arrival MANYBHANJANG
Drive along the track of the famous Toy Train on an interesting and eye-catching route, viewing hillsides and valleys dotted with tea gardens, waterfalls and little towns of Kurseong, Sonada and Ghoom. Ghoom, at 2440 mtrs, boasts one of the highest railway stations in the world. From here we go to Manybhanjang. Located at 2134 mtrs, it is a small village inhabited by Buddhist Sherpas. Upon arrival, you can relax or explore the town.
DAY - 2 MANYBHANJANG - TONGLU
Wake up to your first day of trekking. From Manybhanjang to Tonglu is an 11 km walk ranging from the moderate to the tough. You will pass through dense forests in which bloom exotic wild flowers. Look for exotic orchids on top of tall trees or on mossy rock ledges. Tonglu- at 3070 mtrs provides a gorgeous view of the majestic Kanchenjunga on one side and the towns of Darjeeling & Kurseong dotting the landscape on the other.
DAY - 3 TONGLU - SANDAKPHU via KALIPOKHRI and BHIKEYBHANJ
After an early breakfast, we leave Tonglu for Kalipokhri, walking along the ridge through bamboo glades, farm lands and the village of Gairibas. Kalipokhri has dark crystal lake surrounded by large pine trees. A further walk of 04 kms is Bhikeybhanj at 3060 mtrs. The steep ascent to Sandakphu is dotted with rhododendrons growing in wild abandon. At 3636 mtrs, Sandakphu is the highest point in the Singalila range and offers an imposing view of some of the highest mountains in the world- Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, & Lhotse- all above 8000 mtrs.
DAY - 4 SANDAKPHU - PHALUT
You leave Sandakphu for Phalut in the morning. Phalut is located at the junction of Nepal, Sikkim & West Bengal. Your walk will, to some extent, be downhill.
DAY - 5 PHALUT - RAMMAM
You traverse rugged terrain before coming to the spectacularly picturesque village of Samanden, better known as “The Lost Valley”. The well terraced flat land with green vegetation is in complete contrast to the bright yellow flowers of the mustard plants which dot the landscape. From Samanden, a short walk will bring you to Rammam- your camp for the night.
DAY - 6 RAMMAM - RIMBIK
The first half of your 19 km trek to Rimbik is through forests where a variety of orchids and wild flowers are found. You can catch a glimpse of some species of rare & exotic birds. The aroma of thukpas, momos, & other exotic Tibetan dishes welcome you in Rimbik- a small town at 2268 mtrs. You call it a day at Rimbik.
DAY - 7 Leave RIMBIK
After breakfast, transfer to the point for your onward connection.

High Altitude Trekking Sangrila Range
The State of Sikkim has only recently been opened to foreigners to witness its mystical charm. It is a riot of colours, unspoilt & untouched natural beauty with a distinct culture of its own and panoramic view of the magnificent Kanchenjunga massif right from its base.
Day - 1 Arrival Yuksom
Arrival at Yuksom, the historical capital of Sikkim. The drive takes you through quaint villages steep valleys and green hills. Yuksom is rich in history and tradition, as it was here that the first Chogyal of Sikkim was consecrated by the three Lamas. Night stay at tent/trekkers hut/hotel.
Day - 2 Yuksom - Tsoka
Following an early morning start, you trek for three hours through lush green meadows and cross four mountain streams. Henceforth, the trek is a continuous uphill path lined with conifers and is virtually carpeted with a bed of leaves to leach Bakhim- a hill village at an altitude of 2744 mtrs. Tsoka is a slightly larger settlement with a few houses, a monastery and is the last village on the route. You spend the night at Tsoka at an altitude of 3049 mtrs.
Day - 3 Rest at Tsoka
We need a day for the visitor to acclimatize to the rarefied air around Tsoka. We will, however, take you on a short uphill walk to Phedam, which gives you a glorious view of the eastern part of the Kanchenjunga massif. We, then, return to Tsoka.
Day - 4 Tsoka - Dzongri
The 10 kms climb takes 05 hours. The vegetation changes to stunted bushes of rhododendrons and miniature pine trees resembling bonsais as you gain altitude with every step to reach Dzongri which is at an altitude of 4030 mtrs..
Day - 5 Rest at Dzongri
Dzongri is picture of solitude surrounded by hills and mountains on all sides. The mountain fortress has no settlements except for two trekkers huts. An early morning trek at around 4.30 am to Dzongri top which at 4269 mtrs is higher than most mountain peaks in Europe, presents yet another view of the Kanchenjunga along with other ranges basking in the glory of the rising sun. We return to the camp site and spend the day to acclimatize.
Day - 6 Dzongri - Thanshing
You lose altitude during the first half of the trek and steadily regain it as you walk along the river Prekchu, a tributary of the Rangeet, before you reach your camping site at Thanshing. Thanshing at an altitude of 3842 mtrs. is the base camp for mountaineering expeditions to Mt. Tinchinkhan (6010 mtrs)
Day - 7 Thanshing - Sumethang
You set out early for your destination- Sumethang at 4440 mtrs. The trekkers hut here is on a small piece of picturesque flat land no larger than two tennis courts surrounded by imposing mountains on all sides. Blending with the backdrop is a pristine blue water lake of glacial origin with an adjoining stream to form a picture which is nature lover’s ultimate dream. You stop here for the night.
Day - 8 Sumethang - Goechala - Sumethang - Thanshing
You leave at 3 a.m. in the morning equipped with torches braving the temperature of 90 below zero and climb to Goechala (the Goecha Pass)- a path way located at 4955 mtrs, higher than any place in Europe. After sun shine, the area is engulfed with fog and cloned banks. You return to Sumethang to collect your gear and move down to Thanshing.
Day - 9 Thanshing - Tsoka
You take a short route back to Tsoka through dense forests. We call it a day at Tsoka.
Day - 10 Tsoka - Yuksom
