DAY 01 (Semiliguda)

Kolkata-Vizag- Semiliguda:Arrive kolkata   with international flight and then fly to Visakhapatnam  ( Indigo 12:00-14:30 ) . Our  representative will receive you from the airport and transfer to Semiliguda .It  will take about 4/5  hours to reach Semiliguda  from Visakhapatnam .O/n Semiliguda.(This must be a wednesday)



DAY 02(Semiliguda)

Semiliguda- Anukodelli - Semiliguda:Morning drive to Anukodelli- the weekly tribal market of  Bondo , Gadaba, and  other  tribal communities .. Bondos are one  of the most  importnat  tribes of India ,living in the Bondo hills. They speak Remo,a dialect which has an affinity with the language of the Mundas of Austro-Asiatic descent. . Heavy brass and aluminium collar necklaces and beads are vital accessories used by the Bonda tribals .They come to this weekly tribal market  every Thursday .The Didayis share the same territory as the Bondos, but speak another variant of the Munda language. In the  market  place  you can also get to see the others tribal group .  After  visiting the weekly market  you can get back to the hotels enroute  visiting some interesting tribal villages . .O/n Semiliguda or  Jeypore  ( 4-5 hrs  Drive + Visit ).(This must be a Thursday):



DAY 03(Semiliguda)

Semiliguda -Kunduli-semiliguda:Visit the  biggest  weekly  tribal market of paraja  & Mali tribes at Kunduli.This is the biggest  tribal weekly market  in the whole tribal area.  Tribal people  mostly come to this colourful market from nearby villages. It looks so colourful and interesting to see the daily activities of the tribes at the market  place.Unlike  the other weekly market  you can also find here a cattle  market  where the tribal bring their cows/buffallows for buying and sellings in  the market..  After  spending sometime in the market  place , drive back to hotel enroute visiting some tribal villages.o/n O/n Semiliguda or  Jeypore  . O/n Semiliguda or  Jeypore  ( 4-5 hrs  Drive + Visit ).(This must be a Friday)


DAY 04(Semiliguda)

Semiliguda-Gupteswar-Semiliguda:Drive to Gupteswar  and visit the hidden shiva lingam in the cave deep inside the core forest and also visit some Dhruba  tribal villages .Dhruba  tribes  are living  peacefully in the forest area .You can  enjoy the scenery all through the journey . Afternoon drive back to hotel enroute visiting another  interesting tribal haat . O/n O/n Semiliguda or  Jeypore  O/n Semiliguda or  Jeypore  ( 4-5 hrs  Drive + Visit )



DAY 05(Rayagada)

Semiliguda-Rayagada:Drive to Rayagada enroute visiting koraput  tribal museum , and  some interesting villages of Paraja , kondha  and  mali tribes.The  tribal  museum at  Koraput  gives complete information about the tribes of Orissa .  O/n Rayagada ( 4 hrs  Drive + Visit )


DAY 06(Gopalpur)

Drive to Gopalpur  on sea enroute visiting taptapani hot sulphur spring and tibbettan refugees’  settlement camp at chandragiri.Tibbettan settlement camp at chandragiri , established after the indo - china war is worth visiting that makes you feel like being in a small tibet. you can visit their handloom & craft  centres. and  know  about their  way  of living / culture.  Evening at Gopalpur on Sea. O/n Gopalpur  ( 5-6 hrs  Drive + Visit )


DAY 07(Puri)

Gopalpur- Satapada- Puri -Morning proceed to Visit some of the interesting coastal orissan villages  and savour their hospitality. Afternoon take a ferry ride to reach the other side of the Chilika lake. . Chilka is the largest brackish water  lake in asia which is famous for its dolphins and migratory birds. After reaching the other side of the lake (Satapada) , you can drive on to puri . O/n Puri 
 ( 4 hrs  Drive + Visit )


DAY 08(Puri)

Puri City : After breakfast visit the colourful market infront of  Lord  Jagannath temple .Non Hindus are not allowed to enter into the temple  but  its more interesting to see the activities around the temple premises where you can  find ,thousands and thousands of people , from all walks of life, from differents parts of India and  abroad , come to visit the  temple .This will give you a fair idea about the jagannath  cult  .Afternoon visit the artisan village at  Raghurajpur .O/n Puri


DAY 09(Bhubaneswar)

Puri - Konark - Bhubaneswar:Drive to Bhubaneswar enroute visiting the world heritage site ( konark Sun temple ) at Konark , pipili applique village, dhauli peace pagoda. After reaching bhubaneswar you can also visit some of the most ancient temples dating back to 7th to 11th century A D–like  Parsurameswar  Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Lingaraj Temple  etc..O/N Bhubaneswar



DAY 10(Dhenkanal)

Bhubaneswar- Lalitgiri-ratnagiri-Udaigiri-Bhubaneswar: After breakfast , proceed  to visit the budhist triangle of  Laligiri - Ratnagiri- Udaigiri., popularly known as the Diamond Triangle of Orissa . Afternoon drive to Dhenkanal for  overnight stay. 

DAY 11(Dhenkanal)

Visit the Weavers at Nuapatna & Dokra Metal Workers at Sadeibarini. 
Nuapatna is a village of Weavers working on IKAT (Tie & Dye) process where you can find almost all  the families of the entire village are  involved in producing fabrics and  beautiful sarees .Weaving is the main source of livilihood  for the people and after observing their work you can not stop appreciating them for keeping this beautiful age-old traditional work alive inspite of the onslaught of modern civilization. 
Sadeibarini is a small village of the Situlia Tribal Group where you can find them  working on Loss Wax Processing System. They produce different art & artifacts from a combination of Zinc & Brass metals .


DAY 12(Bhitarkanika )

Drive to Bhitarkanika Wild Life Sanctuary .This is a Great experience of visiting the Wild Life Sanctuary by Boat & Nature Trek. Spot the Giant Salt Water Crocodiles Sun Basking while boating thru the small creeks. Enjoy the Nature Trek & Spot Migratory Birds, Deer, Wild Boar & Very rare species of Birds in this Sanctuary. 
Overnight at Bhitarkanika .


DAY 13(Bhitarkanika)

Explore the Sanctuary by Boat & spot the Giant Salt Water Crocodiles basking on the Bank. Enjoy the Whole Sanctuary by Walk & spot the Deer, Wild Boar, Monitor Lizards, Migratory Birds & Many more Rare Species at Bhitarkanika. Afternoon drive back to Bhubaneswar  enroute  visiting Farmers' village where you can watch men working in the field .Arrive  Bhubaneswar and  directly transfer to Airport to board your  evening flight to kolkata . -Tour ends -

• Tourists / Researchers visiting the areas of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) will require permission from       District Magistrate with a copy to Local Police Station. Any violations will attract criminal cases against    tourists/researchers/sponsors/tour operators under appropriate sections of law.
 
• All applications for such permission shall be made to the District Magistrate through the Tourist Officer of the   concerned district.
 
• Night visit will not be allowed.
 
• Photography is strictly prohibited of the tribal persons belonging to the PVTGs.
 
• Physical proximity of the visitors to the PVTSs should be strictly prohibited. You are also not allowed to enter the   houses of the PVTGs.
 
• Permission will not be granted for any form of amusement/entertainment by the PVTGs for the benefit of visitors.
 
The various places /villages mentioned  in the Orissa Tribal Tours itinerary is  intended  to give  you a general idea  about the lilely tour programme , but the  final  tour  programmes  ultimately depend on the approval from the  concerned  authority.
