Schedule Details

Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur

Arrive in Jaipur and proceed to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. Jaipur, widely celebrated as the Pink City, is renowned for its distinctive rose-hued architecture. The city was painted pink in 1883 to honor the visit of Prince Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria—a tradition that has since become an enduring symbol of Jaipur’s identity and hospitality.
Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur holds the distinction of being India’s first planned city. Its design reflects the ruler’s deep interest in astronomy, architecture, and urban planning. The city was meticulously laid
out according to the ancient principles of Shilpa Shastra, a traditional Indian system of town planning that emphasizes
balance, symmetry, and harmony with nature.

Nestled amid rugged hills and encircled by formidable fortresses and grand palaces, Jaipur presents a striking blend of royal heritage and natural beauty. The city is organized into nine well-defined sectors, each representing one of the nine divisions of the universe, an idea rooted in Hindu cosmology. Wide boulevards, orderly streets, and thoughtfully planned markets reflect the city’s forward-thinking design, which was centuries ahead of its time.

Jaipur’s architectural splendor, vibrant bazaars, and regal past make it one of India’s most
captivating destinations. From ornate facades and historic landmarks to the everyday rhythm of local life, the city offers a unique glimpse into Rajasthan’s royal legacy.

The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace, allowing you to soak in the atmosphere of this historic city. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Jaipur, preparing for the experiences that await you in the days ahead.
